Plantersville-Students at Dallas County High celebrated Computer Science Education Week by participating in The Hour Of Code activities. According to Code.org, the Hour Of Code is a global movement introducing tens of millions of students worldwide to computer science, inspiring kids to learn more, breaking stereotypes, and leaving them feeling empowered. The Hour Of Code began as a one - hour coding challenge to gives students a fun first introduction to computer science. The Hornet Hive News Team sponsored and created special hour of code activities at Dallas County High School. For example, students participated in a scavenger code hunt, Just Dance Code Party and P.E Code Race Game.
