Preston McGee - Reporter

Selma, AL

Dallas County High School Honor Society had a day filled with service. They went to the Central Alabama Regional Child Advocacy Center, where they donated dozens of stuffed animals. The center will give those animals to children who have been through trauma in their lives. Next on their trip, DCHS Honor Society visited residents at Cedar Hill Assisted Living, where they gave them gifts, played games, sang, and chatted with them. To round up their trip, they went to the Dog Bone Animal Shelter where they donated many bags of kitty litter and numerous blankets and towels, and loved on the cats that are available for adoption. This series of gracious acts by our Honor Society was just in time for the holiday season!
