Beads and candy were flying everywhere as the DCHS floats "let the good times roll " along the parade route. This was the second annual Homecoming parade for the Hornets. The tradition started last year under the leadership of former principal, Willie Frank Moore. It was such a successful event last year that the Hornets marched again. The parade consisted of floats from different clubs and grade levels. The parade started at 12:00 at Dallas County High School and then transitioned to Martin Middle School and Valley Grande Elementary.

Junior, Marshal McCary, stated, “Although it was cold and windy, the parade went better than expected and the kids loved it!”
